Partners for Social Enterprise to host the Changing LiveSE conference in Hereford

Partners for Social Enterprise are hosting a social enterprise conference at Hereford College of Technology on Wednesday 31st March 2010. Changing LiveSE will provide a range of practical workshops for developing social enterprises and showcase living social enterprise from across Herefordshire.

The conference will also provide an opportunity for finding out more about the newly launched Social Enterprise Mark™.

Social Enterprise Awards
The Social Enterprise Coalition is calling on social enterprises from across the UK to apply for the brand new Social Enterprise Awards, the application runs until 28 September 2009. 
The Social Enterprise Awards have the following categories: Best Social Enterprise (turnover of £1 million plus); Best Social Enterprise (turnover of less than £1 million) and Best New Social Enteprise. Winners can receive up to £5,000 as well as business support packages and a national media platform to promote themselves.

VILLAGE SOS: BIG AND BBC JOIN FORCES TO INSPIRE UK RURAL REVIVAL

Rural villages in the West Midlands that have a great idea for a new local business venture that will help to regenerate their community are being invited to apply to Village SOS - a new funding scheme being launched this week by the Big Lottery Fund in partnership with BBC One. PSE Full Partnership Meeting - Pack-It Hereford - 6th July 2009

Please find attached the agenda for the next PSE meeting on 6th July 2009, 10.30am start. Partners for Social Enterprise meet once a quarter to raise issues, provide information on forthcoming events, and suggest ways in which the partnership can develop to benefit existing and potential social enterprises within the area. Your input is extremely important and everyone is welcome to attend.
 
The meeting will take place at Pack-IT Hereford, Units 28/29, Foley Trading Estate, Hereford, HR1 2SF. There will be a brief tour of Pack-It and Sarah Crawley from iSE planning to come and speak.

Please let use know if you are planning to attend so we can ensure a sufficient supply of refreshments. Lunch will be supplied.
